Prestigious WORLD.MINDS Conference Held in the National Theatre

Leading world’s innovators, scientists, business leaders and artists, who present contemporary ideas in an inspirational way, have gathered on 23rd May in the National Theatre to attend the prestigious WORLD.MINDS Conference.

After Switzerland, Serbia is the only country in the world which hosted this renowned symposium that assembled greatest thinkers of present time. This organization from Switzerland regularly organises conferences in Zurich every December.

WORLD.MINDS community consists of more than 1,000 eminent individuals, amongst whom are Nobel Prize winners, statesmen, scientists, university professors, ambassadors, writers, who gave significant contribution to science, art and business.

On this occasion, Belgrade represented a world centre for exchange of prestigious and innovative solutions in spheres of robotics, astrophysics, medicine, molecular biology, psychology, marketing, arts and sports.

This year, Serbia was represented by Teslagram, a technology developed at the Institute of Physics that features as the best system for protection against forging, BioSens Institute, a science-research facility that deals with development, introduction and promotion of advance ICT solutions in agriculture and 3Lateral, a leading manufacturer of digital humane technology and creative contents.

Special focus of the congress in Belgrade was placed on involvement of young researchers, students at doctoral and postdoctoral studies from Serbia and the region.

The speakers at the Conference were Ms Ana Brnabić, Serbian Prime Minister, Mr Aleksandar Vučić, Serbian President, and Mr Gerhard Schroeder, former German Chancellor, amongst others. Amongst other participants were Mr Kurt Wuthrich, Nobel Prize winner for chemistry, Mr Tom Wujec, a technology pioneer and one of speakers at TED Conferences, Mr Osh Agabi, an expert in neurotechnology and CEO of Koniku, etc.
