DENIS NEDAK PRINCIPAL DANCER OF THE NATIONAL OPERA OF UKRAINE “T. SHEVCHENKO” WILL DANCE IN THE SLEEPING BEAUTY BALLET ON 16TH JUNE
Principal dancer of the National Opera of Ukraine “T. Shevchenko”, Denis Nedak, will give a guest performance in The Sleeping Beauty on the Main Stage on 16th June.
The international ballet star performed for Belgrade audience five months ago, on 19th January this year in La Bayadere ballet. This time, he will interpret the role of Prince Desire in The Sleeping Beauty. Since his last tour to Belgrade, he gave a series of performances in New York and San Francisco, as well as in Kiev in the National Opera of Ukraine.
Denis Nedak’s partner will be prima ballerina Ana Pavlović, who will interpret the role of Princess Aurora.
The whole ballet ensemble will take part in this classical ballet spectacle choreographed by Vladimir Logunov.
Mr. Đorđe Pavlović will conduct the Orchestra of the National Theatre.
Ivan Vsevolozhsky and Marius Petipa wrote the libretto based on Charles Perrault’s fairytales.
The ballet premiered on the Main Stage on 23rd May 1996.
